You don’t have to be an introvert to read blogs regularly. It’s just that maybe innies and outies gravitate toward different topics? I don’t know. It may not have everything to do with our personality or temperament style.
This new inspiration comes from time away this week, which cleared out my mind, and catching up on video training as I count away my emails.
The Week in One #Introvert Blog Readings
Here are some blogs I read this week which you may or may not have read.
1) How an introvert can get to be seen and heard – this post reminded me of things I’ve said or written about. Why I selected it out of doznes of introvert posts this week is one word: harness. I love that word.
“Playing to one’s own strengths, rather than trying to be someone else, is what counts the most …” and here is the rest of a take on how to make this happen …
2) Jack Burke: Introverts and extroverts in couples – this one immediately made me think about when my husband and I were interviewed a few yars back by the Wall Street Jounral about our innie outie relationship.
“Are you an introvert or an extrovert? What about your partner? You’ve heard the expression “opposites attract” licensed marriage and family therapist Jack Burke sits down with Sharon Rose Vaznis to talk about how introverts and extroverts learn from each other in a relationship. … continue to read this one.
3) Understanding the Two Types of Extroversion – I knew about introvert, ambivert and extrovert but was totally unaware of two types of extroverts! When this new study came out I had to check it out.
“Researchers still have a lot to learn about the roots of introversion and extroversion, and not all of what they’ve uncovered so far has fully filtered down to the public. When it comes to extroversion, for example, they’ve realized that it can actually be broken down into two components: affiliative extroversion and agentic extroversion, which involve different motives for wanting to be around people.” … find out more.
4) The 7 Step Process For Writing a Blog Post That People Will Actually Read – as a blogger and author there are never enough ideas to gather possible actions for me to take to be better. This post did not disappoint.
“Why is it so hard to write something people will actually READ? It’s one thing to share your thoughts and feelings on a topic, but it’s an entirely different thing to do it in a way that makes a difference to your readers and your business. There are plenty of copywriting tips out there that will help you boost conversions, but sometimes you need to see the process as a whole.
Here are seven steps for writing a blog post that people will actually read:”
5) Why We Love “Better Call Saul” – always attempting to balance out my blog reading. My husband I were big Breaking Bad fans. One of my favorite characters launched his own series when it ended. I was hooked from episode one, and this week, my husband became a fan. Seems like other people did too. Maybe this post explained some of the reasoning.
“America has always loved the underdog. After all, the founding of our country was based on a David-and-Goliath struggle against a seemingly indomitable monarchy. The promise of America is that anyone can be successful if they are innovative and work hard.” … Of particular interest to Better Call Saul fans.

Thank you for sharing what you are reading. I have book marked the page for writing blog posts. I know it, but I tend to forget to use that formula.

There is so much online to read about blogging it’s hard to narrow what I do need down to a recommendation. But anytime a headline grabs me as this one did, “actually read,” being the operative phrase for me, I’m happy to recommend it Cheryl!
