December 27, 2013 by Patricia Weber

Worry is only a set of thoughts. When our worry moments cause us to take on useless habits, beliefs and actions is when it matters. As I reflect on this year coming to a close, I thought about any of my thoughts of worry. I made a list to consider, did any of my worry change things for the better or for the worst? If it did, was the Now I know the answer at least to the … [Read more...] about Top Ten 2013 worry moments: Why Worrying is Worthless

Why It Takes me So Long to Pack as an Introvert, Baby Boomer Woman

August 9, 2013 by Patricia Weber

In getting ready for a brief holiday trip, I was thinking about how I go about packing even for just a 4-day trip. This process started for me about 12 years when my husband and I began the car hobby. We went right off the starting line almost at the top with a 1933 Packard. For me all the talk around lengthy airport stays … [Read more...] about Emotional Baggage Have You Waiting in a Safe Zone?

Beneficial Meditiation

There are many techniques we can use to get more in tune with an energy boost or stay in the flow. NLP, EFT, the Sedona Technique are a few of them I use. But lately, the most effective and easiest for me is meditation. Maybe it's because it's the one I give daily attention to, or because I find it the easiest, or because … Earlier this year my son emailed me about this … [Read more...] about Can You Count the Ways to Beneficial Meditation?

What I Learned About Persistence from our iRobot Mimi

May 9, 2013 by Patricia Weber

Yes, my husband and I have a robot. My son convinced me it was a cool way for us to – cut back on our housekeeper expenses without me having to do all the work. And wow, I amazed what Mimi, our name of the Mint iRobot, can do. I'm not sure where or how that name came to me but we call our robot, Mimi. My blogger friend Catarina Alexon just blogged about, Want to turn your … [Read more...] about What I Learned About Persistence from our iRobot Mimi
