How To Make Two Steps To Guard Ourselves For Amazing Positivity

How To Make Two Steps To Guard Ourselves For Amazing Positivity

Early this year when you may have set your New Year resolutions, I chose my “one word”  to guide me in my life. Surrender.

With close to a dozen family, health and life issues brewing worry, fear, anxiety and even anger were stirring in me. Each situation dug its claws into me when they were starting just a little over two years ago. If I fought back on my own, or ignored them, I’m not sure where I would be today. Nor do I know of what the state of the situations would. But for me, surrender, actions, and mindset all helped me through all of it.

Family can be messy with conflicts, financial pressures, marital issues, deaths, and illness. When such situations happen, we can live with negative thinking in our mind, and then we find we may not be able to succeed in our life the way God intends for us. Our efforts to do anything positive or can become very hard to achieve because of our mindset.

Mark 4:21-22

Instead of trying to be something different why not use your personality to stand out from others? In preparing for a guest speaker program, not all ideas make it to the platform. But as with a couple of events in my husband’s and my life, just because some movie moments make it to the cutting room floor, hardly means they are wasted.

Sometimes, to stand out, you may find you try too hard or go too far. It’s difficult to say in my coaching experiences, how many of those of us more introverted may have claimed something like, “If only I were more extroverted.” That can be extreme. Going to the extreme is not always the best way to make yourself stand out from others.

Instead of trying to be something different why not use your personality to your advantage? Why not incorporate your traits and characteristics and use them to get noticed? After all, with half of us having a more introverted preference, if you disguise yourself, no one can benefit from your value.[Continue Reading…]

  • Lose 20 pounds.
  • Increase income by 10%.
  • Buy a larger house/newer vehicle.
  • Run a marathon.
  • Save money for college.

Of course, these few are more common goals that people set for themselves.

Best 5 Monsters to Free Yourself of this Halloween

monster_houseTrick or treat? Personally, I’m tired of doing tricks and am ready for treats. Whether it’s a treat from someone or one I give myself, with Halloween on the calendar, there are Best 5 Monsters to Free Yourself of this Halloween.

Have you ever heard, “When you seek the truth, ask a wise woman?” No that is not me who I’m speaking about, but instead, it’s on the cover of my box of Wisdom of the Crone cards. It’s a gift one of my family members gave to me a few years ago.

Once in a while, I lift a card from this deck of 54 cards in addition to any other personal process that day, to help me recharge my energy. Today was one of those “help me I’m drowning,” I’m in overwhelm, kind of days. Overwhelm is a feeling; that’s it. Most of the time I bring it on or cause it myself.

This Crone deck card is one I’ve read before, and I get it on an intellectual basis: acceptance.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Acceptance.

But maybe because of recent happenings in kind of a haunting way, the words of guidance were, well, haunting.
