Sing the 12 Days of Christmas like the Introvert You Are

Holidays and introverts are only close words in a dictionary. In life, the events and this people style don’t always mix easily.

In years past the traffic and crowded stores were too much for some of us. Now add in the additional stress due to technology in our lives.

As you listen to this song or sing it (even just think it) in your head: ♪♪♬♫ On the first day of Christmas, which is getting close, substitute the words, I gave these gifts to me ♪♪♬♫. Ahem:

Self-Kindness to Kick off World Kindness Day #WorldKindnessDay

Can kindness easily become a daily habit? Or are we going to observe it once a year.

Yes; there is a movement for Kindness, and while each country might celebrate it during a different month, the World Kindness Movement is real, and many celebrate it on November 13th. You can start to search about it online with #WorldKindnessDay if interested in the history of it.

Romance Awareness month: are you making these blunders with your #introvert love

When this introvert hears romance, my preference leans towards small, quieter gestures. My husband and I often surprise each other with a hide and go seek game. In using a favorite toy of ours, – no, don’t let your mind go there my friend – one of my speaking and training props, often accompanied with a little love note.

But, I’m married to an extrovert who more often surprises me with romantic gestures that can annoy me. My dislike is likely because I hate most surprises.
