How to sell to an introvert, by an introvert

August 9, 2008 by Pat

I’m currently challenged by this new blog format in WordPress so am holding further longer posts.

This is an oldie but goodie and still interesting reading The Top 10 Ways to Market to Introverts (you know, the ones with the high income)

Is there a particular point that Nancy makes that you agree most with? Is there a point you most disagree with?

Thanks for the article, Nancy. As an extrovert who studies introverts I have learned a few things. I have found that some of the richest material for my book on introverted leaders comes from my queries on Linked In. The take away for sales people? Establish rapport first by writing. Also remember about depth vs. breadth..know your product/service inside out and in networking situations, don’t look around the room to see who else might be more interesing to approach. Pull out everything you have learned about active listening and establish presence.
